Cytochalasin D, a metabolite of the fungus Drechslera dematoidea, which is about 10-fold more effective than cytochalasin B, inhibits CT26 tumor growth potentially through inhibition of cell proliferation, induction of cell apoptosis and suppression of tumor angiogenesis.
