Cyclomorusin, a natural product isolated and purified from the root bark of Morus alba L., inhibits cholinesterase enzyme in a dose-dependent manner, and exhibits competitive inhibition toward monophenolase activity of mushroom tyrosinase (IC50=0.092 mM). Cyclomorusin also evokes the stimulation of superoxide anion generation in fMLP-stimulated rat neutrophils.
